At Harmony Psychotherapy, you get customized, personal care. This is not an agency or large organization, but an independently owned and operated private practice. I’ve constructed my business to emphasize the personal relationship, not just the professional one.

The difference:

  • When you contact HP, you get me. Not a secretary who has to check with me and get back to you. You get straight to me.
  • When you message me, you contact me directly. You will not get an automated response or an administrative assistant fielding messages.
  • We go over the paperwork together at the beginning of your first session. You will not have to create a portal, go online and electronically sign your name to a bunch of stuff you didn’t really read.
  • You can schedule with me directly instead of using an online free-for-all booking tool. This provides access to preferred time slots and direct contact with me if something comes up and you need to reschedule.
  • I send personal reminders for upcoming appointments, so we always have open communication about sessions and scheduling instead of getting an automated email that you cannot reply to.
  • I manage all billing and charge accounts. If there is ever an issue, you will not get pushed off to the “billing manager/office manager/accounts receivable.” I will work directly with you to quickly resolve the situation.
  • I see a limited amount of clients per week so I can continue to provide comprehensive, customized, personal care. I truly prioritize quality over quantity service.

Prices are direct pay. The Ivy Pay app is easy to use and HIPAA compliant (you can also use a Health Savings Account card). Cash/Check are also accepted.

$150 – Standard Session (50 min “therapy hour”)

$240 – Extended Session (80 minutes)

The benefits

Direct pay (versus insurance) provides these exclusive benefits:

  • You choose the provider based on who is the best fit for you.
  • You are not charged extra to see me, as a specialist.
  • You are not restricted to using in network providers.
  • You decide the length of session and frequency of visits, not the insurance company.
  • Your services are entirely confidential and not a part of your permanent health record.
  • Insurance requires a DSM mental health diagnosis for coverage to apply.

If you would like to explore out of network reimbursement through your insurance coverage, I can provide the required superbill, or “receipt of services.” This is typically a simple process for the consumer but I encourage you to contact your insurance company for details.

You will incur a late cancellation fee of 80% of the planned session cost, if you cancel within 24 hours of our scheduled appointment. If you no-show/no-contact, you will be charged the full scheduled session cost.
